Brainsell Technologies has decided to carry Intacct's cloud-based application. Jim Ward, CEO of Topsfield, Mass.-based reseller, said the company had previously sold its NetSuite business to New York, N.Y.-based Net@Work. I have a feeling that Acumatica and Intacct should send Oracle a "Thank You" card for the latter's purchase of NetSuite.

HighJump has expanded its presence in the EDI market with the acquisition of Westborough, Mass.-based RedTail Solutions. RedTail becomes a part of HighJump's TrueCommerce operations with plans to eventually bring the acquired operations under the TrueCommerce name, but with no current change in strategy or focus.

Jodi Uecker-Rust has followed her old boss out of the financial software business into the North Dakota state government. The veteran of Great Plains/Microsoft and Sage has become COO of the state under new governor Doug Burgum. Uecker Rust held a variety of titles at Great Plains, ending as COO under Burgum, then the CEO.

Columbus has promoted John Hendrickson, the head of Interdyn BMI to the position of SVP of business transformation. And apparently BMI will finally be integrated with the other Columbus reselling operations in this country. Columbus purchased BMI in 2015 and the Minneapolis, Minn.-area reseller has played an important role in turning around the performance of Denmark-based Columbus in the United States.
