MYOB NAMES COO, CHANGES GMS

Andrew Birch, MYOBAndrew Birch, general manager of industry solutions, has been named as COO of MYOB. Birch joined the software company, based in Glen Waverley, Victoria, Australia, in 2009 as general manager of industry solutions. The company also said Adam Ferguson is leaving his job as GM of engineering and experience.

David Faye, Faye Business Solutions GroupFaye Business Solutions Group has acquired the SugarCRM practice of Cynergy Solutions. Based in Simi Valley, Calif., Cynergy also handles Salesforce and OroCRM. It also has an office in Plano, Texas. David Faye, CEO at Faye, said the deal enables his firm to expand its business in both California and Texas.

XERO CASH POSITIVE IN 2ND HALF

Rod Drury, XeroCloud software company Xero substantially cut its loss for the year ended March 31. The New Zealand-based organization passed 1 million subscribers during fiscal 2017 and also said this week operating cash flow turned positive for the first time during the second half.

SAGE TO PARTNER ON PAYMENTS

With payments being one of the three pillars of Sage's business, there will be something to fill the gap, Stephen Kelly, CEO of the Sage Group, said during an interview during this week's Summit conference in Atlanta.

Based in Houston, Texas, Rand is a long-time Dynamics reseller and is the biggest reseller to have been announced this year as joining the program. In its submission for Bob Scott's Top 100 VARs for 2017, the company reported $18.07 million in revenue and 94 employees.
