FINANCIALFORCE NAMES CEO

Tod Nielsen, FinancialForce FinancialForce has named Tod Nielsen, former EVP of platform at Salesforce, as CEO. He replaces founder Jeremy Roche, who will serve as a special advisor to management. Meanwhile, the company said it is nearing a $100-million runrate and is experiencing revenue growth of more than 40 percent. FinancialForce said the next target is $1 billion in revenue.

HICKS NOW INFUSIONSOFT COO

Terry Hicks, InfusionsoftTerry Hicks, who once led the QuickBooks Online effort, has become chief operating officer of Infusionsoft. Hicks took on the new title this month after serving as chief product officer for the Chandler, Ariz.-based software company from July 2015. He was with Intuit from February 2000 through February 2015.

EPICOR BUYS DOCSTAR

Thomas Franceski,  docStarEpicor Software has acquired docStar, which makes ECM and automated accounts payable applications. Founded in 2006, docStar describes its products as designed for companies of all sizes and claims 20,000 customers in 150 countries. Epicor says it plans to integrate docStar integrated Epicor ERP solution in the second quarter this year.

Joe Langer, PCLenderFormer Sage VP Joe Langer has taken a job as president of online mortgage company, PC Lender, based in Reno, Nev. Langer was EVP and GM of Sage's Mid-market Solutions division from October 2011 to February 2015. A lot of the channel is happy as long as he does anything but come back to Sage.

 Jeremy Korst, AvalaraAvalara has hired Jeremy Korst as chief marketing officer. The sales tax software company said his responsibilities include brand, demand generation, channel, international, product, and customer marketing. Korst succeeds the company's first CMO, Michael Turner, who was with Avalara from February 2015 through December 2015.
