EDGEWATER CEO SINGLETON REPLACED

Shirley Singleton, Edgewater TechnologyAn investment group that pledged to oust Shirley Singleton, CEO of Edgewater Technology, has kept its promise. The board of directors has named one of its members, Jeffrey L. Rutherford, as chairman, interim president and CEO. An investor group, which had vowed to replace Singleton and the company's chief technology officer David Clancey, won a proxy fight in February.

SAGE WANTS TO BE COOL

Santiago Solanas, SageSage's description for what it wants it in a new chief marketing officer has some interesting phrases. According to the job posting on the company's website, the person Sage hopes to replace departing Santiago Solanas is supposed to "Transform Sage's brand position so it is positioned as "cool" and innovative and seen as a thought leader in its target geographies".

ANOTHER TOP EXEC LEAVING SAGE

Jacqueline de Rojas, SageSage has confirmed that Jacqueline de Rojas, managing director of Sage U.K., Ireland and Northern Europe, is leaving the company. That comes on the heels of the move by global chief marketing officer Santiago Solanas to Cisco this month. While Solanas was a 10-year employee of the software company, de Rojas had taken her position only in July.

Susie Sedlacek, FinancialForce FinancialForce has named two senior vice presidents as part of its global field organization. The company hired Kevin McKay as SVP of customer success, and Susie Sedlacek as SVP of global professional services. The company said the hirings consolidate all customer-facing functions, including sales, professional services, alliances, customer success and support, under the new organization.

UNIT4 HIRES SERVICES EVP

Dave Goossens, Unit4Unit4 has named Dave Goossens as EVP of professional services. Goossens worked from Hewlett Packard, which he joined in February 2011. In his most recent role, starting in November 2014, he was VP and GM of software services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

SAAS PUSHES INFOR QUARTER

Charles Phillips, InforInfor reported net income of $37.6 million for the third quarter ended January 31, compared to a loss of $44.2 million a year ago. And revenue rose to $706.6 million in the most recently end period, an increase of 5.2 percent from $671.6 million in last year's corresponding period.

Bonnie Nagayama, McWilliams & AssociatesBonnie McWilliams Nagayama, who was well-known in the QuickBooks community, has passed away. President of the CPA firm McWilliams & Associates, Nagayama was a top Intuit reseller, according to Doug Sleeter, founder and former head of the Sleeter Group, who called her, "A good friend of mine and someone who helped everyone around her."

DELTEK PICKS CONSULTING VP

Natasha Engan, DeltekDeltek has named Natasha Engan as SVP of global consulting. She had been with IBM from May 2004 before taking the new job.  Her positions include serving as VP of North American Security Services from January 2015 through June 2016 and VP of the security financial services market from July 2016. Engan takes the position formerly occupied by Duane Kotsen. Who was originally hired in 2014 as SVP of global services. In her new position, Engan reports to CEO Mike Corkery

SAGE'S SOLANAS GOES TO CISCO

Santiago Solanas, SageSage's global chief marketing officer Santiago Solanas is leaving the company to join Cisco. In a recent Tweet, Solanas said he was moving to Cisco in the position of southern European lead. Solanas had held the position since June 2014. He joined Sage in June 2007 and became CEO of Sage Spain, serving in that position from December 2010 through November 2010. This strikes mean as a big loss of experience in the executive ranks.
