ENAVATE UNIFIES BRAND

Matt, Petersen, EnavateEnavate, a Dynamics AX VAR, has decided to bring its operations under one name. The company acquired MBS Dev and Celenia Software in December 2014 and continued to use the Celenia name in Europe while adopting the Enavate name here. Enavate spring to life in December 2013 under the name, Project AX.

ACCOUNTANT VP BARLOW LEAVING SAGE

Ray Barlow, SageRay Barlow, VP of accountant solutions at Sage, is leaving the job he has held since August 2015. Barlow confirmed he is leaving the software company on April 12. He did not state his plans although there are reports that he will join XCM Services.

XERO REACHES ONE MILLION USERS

 Rod Drury, XeroXero has announced that it has recently passed one million subscribers. The New Zealand-based cloud software company said that it doubled its subscriber base in less than two years, adding nearly 300,000 in the last year.

SAGE TO ACQUIRE COMPASS

Bjoern Lasse Herrmann, CompassSage has reached a deal to acquire Compass, which markets an analytics and benchmarking platform used by ecommerce businesses. Compass describes itself as planning to build the largest Ecommerce Information Network. Terms of the agreement were not revealed.

David Kerr, Kerr ConsultingKerr Consulting has acquired Atlanta Ga.-based SoftwareLink. Last week, we reported SoftwareLink founder Stan Kania had given up the ERP business to concentrate on hosting. Paired with the deal was the news that private equity firm Proviso had acquired majority ownership in Kerr, based in The Woodlands, Texas.

Mark Meller, SilverSun TechnologiesAcquisitions completed in 2015 played a major role in financial results for SilverSun Technologies for the year ended December 31. SilverSun, parent of reseller SWK Technologies, reported 2016 revenue of $34.1 million, an increase of 23.4 percent from $27.6 million in 2015.
