SAGE: U.S. LAGS ON SUBSCRIPTIONS

Mark Rastovac, XkzeroXkzero said in the second half of 2017 it expects to introduce Mobile Commerce by xkzero, which will integrate with Acumatica. Designed for businesses that deliver products via their own vehicles, the product from the Des Plaines, Ill.-based reseller and developer will integrates direct store delivery and ERP capabilities for food and beverage wholesale distribution.

MYOB TO EXPAND GREENTREE CHANNEL

MYOBAustralian software company MYOB plans to expand its channel of Greentree resellers. MYOB purchased Greentree in June. In a shareholder presentation about financial results for the first half ended December 31, MYOB noted plans for increased marketing and sales efforts with increased online efforts.

MACABE FOUNDER BRYANT DIES

Alan Bryant, industry veteranAlan Bryant, who headed Sage ISV The Macabe Associates for many years, has died. Peyton Burch, Intacct's senior director of channel sales, was part of the Sage channel for many years. He described Bryant's death this week as a "Devastating loss of one of the truly great people in our industry."

Sheldon Waters, InfoTracManaged services provider DSM Computing Services, based in Toronto, Ontario, has been acquired Apogee IT Services, another MSP headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa. Terms were not disclosed. DSM was founded in January 1998 by CEO Sheldon Waters.

CLOUD STRONG FOR SAP IN 2016

Bill McDermott, SAPSAP rode the cloud and SAP4/Hana to a 20-percent increase in earnings for the year ended December 31 on a 6-percent rise in revenue. These are preliminary results and the German software vendor will report final result and hold its earnings webcast later.
