Joe Langner, SageSage is taking Sage Business Care, its customer service effort, in house at the end of September. In a letter to the channel, Joe Langner, EVP of midmarket solutions, said that while the third-party provider, ServiceSource International “has done a good job over the past several years, we believe that bringing renewals in-house will provide significant benefits to partners, customers, and Sage.”

My daughter said it was probably more about eating healthy food. I said that dead birds are generally gluten free.

Wall Street, which has not been happy with the loud and frenetic CEO, registered its approval by boosting the price of company shares.

SAAS SALES BOOST UNIT4

Chris Ouwinga, Unit4A rising tide of SaaS sales helped Unit4 counter weak results in its Spanish and Portuguese markets for the first half ended June 30. While overall revenue was up only 4.1 percent – 2 percent organic - revenue for Internet-based products increased 43.2 percent to about $43.4 million.
