QLIK BUYS MAPPING SOFTWARE BIZ

Anthony Deighton, QlikAnalytics software company, Qlik has acquired Idevio, which makes geographically related software and services. Radnor, Pa.-based Qlik says the move extends its mapping capabilities and also supports a broad range of advanced geoanalytic use cases. Terms were not disclosed.

SPECTRUM FEATURES TO BE SHOWN

Among the features being demonstrated this month at the World of Concrete Trade Show is Spectrum Ticketing, a cloud-based application described as providing "a unified web, mobile and scale house solution for bulk material weight ticketing".

Sold will be global representative for all domestic businesses in the Unit4 Executive Committee, with GMs of those businesses reporting to him. SAP RAMPS UP ON IoT

Hans Thalbauer, SAPSAP, which has pledged to invest around $2.1 billion in the Internet of Things over five years, has named its IoT portfolio SAP IoT. The name is taken from the inventor, Leonardo da Vinci. The software giant plans a global IoT event that is scheduled to be held from July 11–12 in Frankfurt, Germany, at the KAP EUROPA.

SERENIC Serenic Software has combined with its sister company Bellamy Software. Both units, which target the nonprofit market, are owned by Sylogist, a publicly held Canadian business. Operating as Serenic, the company is incorporating Bellamy's Analytics, Budgeting, Asset Management, Revenue and Operating modules into the Serenic Navigator line.

Donna Armstrong, KenandyKenandy, which develops financial software on the Salesforce platform, has named Donna Armstrong as VP of partners and services. Armstrong, who joined the company in October, will be responsible for helping the Redwood City, Calif.-based Kenandy grow operations and expand its channel.

TANGICLOUD FOR NFPS LAUNCHED

Jay Cloud, Tangicloud Tangicloud for NFPs, a fund accounting package has been launched. The cloud product, based on Dynamics NAV, comes from Tangicloud, founded by Jay and Leisa Malik, the founders of Serenic. The company took responsibility for servicing 14 clients from a software company that suspended operations in July and transitioned them and a small number of other companies since then.
