SWK Technologies, a Livingston, N.J.-based reseller, has purchased the Sage accounts of IncorTech, a Fontana, Calif.-based reseller. IncorTech has sold Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) and Sage 500 (MAS 500).

SAP: BYD PASSES 1,000 UNITS

SAP said this week that it has passed its target of selling 1,000 Business ByDesign units by end end of 2011. That comment was made at a webcast discussing fiscal 2011 results. Co-CEO William McDermott said that "We have exceeded the 1,000 target that you’ve heard Jim and I talk about countless times."

CDC Software, which filed for Chapter 11 protection after a $65 million judgment against it, is now being run by Marc Watson as chief restructuring officer. As part of a restructuring agreement approved on December 2011, Watson has complete authority to make decisions about CDC’s business.

Microsoft will release Dynamics AX 2012 for Retail next month. The company made the announcement at the National Retail Federation conference this week. The 2012 release has multichannel capabilities that enable customers to buy, pick up, return or replace items via different channels.

Infor has introduced Infor10 Marketing, an integrated database marketing application, as part of the Infor10 CRM Enterprise (Epiphany) suite. The package helps marketers plan, execute and monitor direct-to-consumer marketing activities and customer touches simultaneously across outbound channels such as email, direct mail, SMS, Facebook and Twitter, and inbound elements, including websites, mobile, online store, call center, voice response units, POS terminals, kiosks and ATMs.

Epicor Software has rolled out Epicor Eagle Release 21, a retail system that was announced at the National Retail Federation Show this week in New York. IBIS PICKS SCRIBE FOR CRM ONLINE

Ibis, an Atlanta-based Dynamics reseller, has adopted the Scribe Online Integration Platform, for use in its Dynamics CRM Online practice. Scribe is utilized to integrate information entered on websites with Dynamics CRM and the Dynamics accounting software packages. The data flow is in both directions. Ibis plans to roll out Dynamics CRM Online internally with the Scribe Online Replication Service providing backup and external reporting. Besides offering CRM, Ibis also markets Dynamics GP and AX.
