Infor has acquired product lines from RSVP Business Systems, a Rochester, N.Y.-based member of the Infor channel. The applications include Quality Control Solution, built using Infor's Mongoose development toolset, which helps manufacturers track, control and manage quality throughout the daily procedures of receiving, manufacturing and shipping products. QCS is architecturally compatible with Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine) and other Infor applications, which provides integration and accelerated development. Infor intends to develop new QCS products and integrate them with what it said were a number of core Infor platforms. SBS PICKS HOMEBUILDER ALLY

The SBS Group, on the heels of being named a Microsoft Master VAR, has completed a deal that will enable it to sell home building software across the country. The reseller has picked Constellation HomeBuilder Systems' products and will represent Constellation’s HomeDev Pro and BuildTopia software packages. Constellation had worked for the last six months with SBS Group-Denver. The SBS Group is based in Woodbridge, N.J., and handles Acumatica, Deltek Vision, Dynamics AX, GP, SL and NAV, MAS 500 and Sage PFW.

Sage North America is expanding the Sage Development Partner Program for its Sage Payment Solutions division. The program enables ISVs to avoid needing to comply with the Payment Application Data Security Standard on their own as once they integrate their products with the Sage Exchange platform with Sage handling the compliance issues.

The fact CDC Software reported a wider loss on flat revenue for the third quarter ended September 30 is probably less important than events in bankruptcy court. Earlier this month, a United States trustee and CDC debtholders both moved for the appointment of a Chapter 11 trustee. Meanwhile NASDAQ implemented a move that turned a trading halt for the company’s stock to a suspension that went into effect on December 12. The Class A shares moved to the pink sheets.

ConnectWise, which markets products of IT service providers, says that Massey Consulting has completed the integration of Dynamics GP with ConnectWise. The product, DynamicsConnect, is a customizable tool that enables synchronization of information between Microsoft Dynamics GP and ConnectWise in real time or on a schedule. Massey is a Raleigh, N.C.-based reseller of Dynamics GP and Intacct.

Sage North America has introduced Version 11.0 of Sage Fund Accounting. Enhancements include the streamlining of the upgrade process with the new Sage Auto Update console. The console enables users to see which products have updates available; when the update was published; what the update contains; if the update is critical; and if their Sage Business Care support plan is current, nearing expiration or expired.

Infor, which is trying to attract third parties through an integration platform, is delivering its ION connector for use with SAP applications. The company said it plans additional integrations with other companies’ applications, including multiple Oracle products. The Infor10 ION connector can also be utilized to develop integration with custom applications.

Mike Anderson, who served as chief marketing officer for Cougar Mountain Software, has moved to another company. Anderson held the job with the Boise, Idaho-based vendor from March through November of this year. His LinkedIn page shows he is now CIO/CMO at Landmark Home Warranty in South Jordan, Utah.
