SWK Technologies has begun returning Hightower enhancements to the market. Livingston, N.J.-based SWK picked up the enhancements for the Sage 100 line when it acquired the assets of the former Hightower, the Chicago-area VAR that closed in the early Spring.  A letter from SWK president Jeff Roth to the Sage channel said his company would test releases of the Hightower enhancements.

Interdyn Business MicroVAR has folded in the operations of Little Rock, Ark.-based Reach Solutions. The deal was accomplished as a merger, but Interdyn BMI, based in Minneapolis, Minn., had $12.1 million in revenue for 2011 while Reach-Solutions had $1.7 million for the last report I had so we know which name survives.

Epicor has released version 12.9 of Prophet 21, its wholesale distribution ERP system. New modules include Customer Buying Trend Analysis that applies a series of Six Sigma statistical models to determine a distributor's customer/item combinations that have a proven, consistent buying pattern.
