Donna Armstrong, who once led North American sales for Sage X3, has become COO of Cegid. Armstrong took the position with the Lyon, France-based cloud retail application vendor this month after serving as EVP of partners and services and sales for Kenandy from October 2016 until taking the new job.

Menlo Technologies has acquired SSI Consulting, a Vienna, Va.-based reseller. SSI, historically a Solomon reseller, carries Dynamics GP/SL/365 and Intacct. It also handles Unanet, a cloud-based application for project-oriented organizations. And it looks like we are in a new wave of VAR consolidation.

Epicor CFO Kathy Crusco has taken a job with the same title at Kony. Crusco’s LinkedIn profile shows she assumed the position with the Austin, Texas-based enterprise application company in December. No CFO is currently shown on management section of the Epicor website.

Exact appears to have completed its sale of three American manufacturing software packages to ECi Software Solutions. The plan was announced earlier this year when Exact's owner, Apax Partners, purchased ECi and said it would make the switch.

Sage has decided to hold 10 regional meetings called Sage Sessions. The smaller events replace the usual Sage Summit with a cast of thousands. Sage has announced the Sessions as part of its Sage Summit Tour noting, "This year, in lieu of one big event, we'll take the tour on the road to get closer to you and your customers on your home turf."
