Dominik Steiner has been named CEO of Alfapeople, a Dynamics VAR that specializes in retail. He replaces Michael Gaardboe, who had held the job at the Denmark-based operation since 2010.

The growth in subscription revenue dented revenue for Prodware, a Sage and Dynamics reseller based in France, by 20.7 percent for the fourth quarter ended December 31. In issuing its financial reports this week, the company said the period's decline was 16.7 percent on a like-for-like basis.

SAP has named DJ Paoni as president of SAP North America. He takes over responsibility for day-to-day operations, strategy and profitability in the United States and Canada. He takes over the position held by Jennifer Morgan for nearly four years.

Epicor Software has hired Colleen Langevin as chief marketing officer. She replaces former CMO Celie Fleischaker, who had a 20-year career with Epicor, left the company in November, shortly after the arrival of new CEO Steve Murphy.
