EXACT ONLINE GOING UP MARKET

AVALARA LINKS TO QAD

avalara logo newAvalara has inked a deal that brings QAD into its wide-ranging list of software allies. In a typical arrangement, QAD is integrating Avalara's cloud-based, sales-and-use tax services into its enterprise application via the QAD AvaTax Connector. QAD serves manufacturing customers with about 60 percent of its revenue coming from outside the United States but this deal is aimed at business in North America.

EXACT DROPS U.S. EXECS IN REORG

Mitch Alcon, ExactExact has parted ways with the top executives at the former Exact North America as worldwide operations have been reorganized into three units. Gone are president Mitch Alcon, who held the job from April 2008 to June 2012 and marketing VP Harry Merkin, who started in January 2008 and also left last month.

DELTEK MUM ON SALE REPORT

deltek logo newDeltek is declining comment on a Wall Street Journal report that the company is for sale. The Journal made the report a week ago. I suspect this is one of those things we'll find out about if it happens and if no deal is made, the subject will never get mentioned. It's hard for outsiders to know the reasons.

B&D is a European-based consulting and systems integration company. In the announcement, the companies said AKA has collaborated with the B&D AX team on many implementations.
