DYNAMICS REVS UP 13 PERCENT

MicrosoftDynamics revenue rose by 13 percent for the first quarter ended September 30, Microsoft said this week. The software company said that stemmed from 69 percent year-over-year growth of Dynamics 365.

INTUIT'S BLUNDELL DIES

Steve Blundell, IntuitSteve Blundell,who was a well-known figure in accounting firm technology, has died. Blundell, age 71, died in September after a battle with cancer. A resident of Helena, Ala., Blundell retired from Intuit in January after 20 years with the software company.

BLACKBAUD TO PUT SKY ON AZURE

blackbaud CEO Mike Gianoni Blackbaud has decided to power its Sky platform with Microsoft Azure. The decision is part of a three-point commitment between the nonprofit software vendor and Microsoft, reached shortly after the latter vendor launched its Tech for Social Impact Group.
