XERO HITS 2M SUBSCRIBERS

Xero ended its half on September 30 with 2 million subscribers. The New Zealand-based cloud company said during its release of results for the six months that the number represented a 30-percent increase over its subscriber base at the end of the first half of fiscal 2019.

Executives did not provide much detail about the network, but expressed confidence that progress will continue to be made in its development, spurred by additional investment.

VISMA REPORTS SHARP GROWTH

Financial software company Visma reported a 56.1-percent rise in net profit on a 27.9-percent increase in revenue for the third quarter ended September 30. The Norway-based company, which operates in the Netherlands and Scandinavia, also pointed the way to future growth with six acquisitions during the quarter.
