Pascal Van Dooren has become chief revenue officer of Galvanize this week.  Van Dooren had been with Avalara since October 2011, serving as chief revenue officer of the sales tax software company from June 2014.

Blackbaud pointed to progress in developing its partner network, during its recent webcast for earnings for the third quarter ended September 30. Executives did not provide much detail about the network, but expressed confidence that progress will continue to be made in its development, spurred by additional investment.

Sage with enter the construction market with its Sage Intacct application. There is no official news. However, one person at the Sage Intacct Advantage conference this month termed the move “The worst-kept secret at Sage”.

Financial software company Visma reported a 56.1-percent rise in net profit on a 27.9-percent increase in revenue for the third quarter ended September 30. The Norway-based company, which operates in the Netherlands and Scandinavia, also pointed the way to future growth with six acquisitions during the quarter.
