DYNAMICS TO GET MORE INVESTMENT?

Dynamics revenue grew 12 percent for the second quarter ended December 31, up 15 percent in constant currency. But Microsoft’s highly guarded comments about the product line during this week’s earnings webcast suggested Dynamics will get more attention in the second half as Dynamics 365 revenue was up 42 percent, 45 percent in constant currency for the most recently ended period.

IFS CLOUD, LICENSES REVS UP

IFS turned in results for 2019 that don’t resemble many other software vendors—it has double-digit revenue growth for both license and cloud revenue. The Sweden-based sister to Acumatica reported a 56-percent increase in cloud revenue for last year and saw license revenue rise by 32 percent.

Growth in cloud-based financial software pushed revenue for Visma for the year ended December 31 31.9 percent ahead of 2018. The Norway-based software company also registered an 11.3-percent rise in profit before tax.
