INTUIT’S QB ONLINE BOOMS

Brad Smith, IntuitIntuit’s switch to online products was in full force for the first quarter ended October 30. The number of QuickBooks Online units sold rose to 399,000, an increase of 29.1 percent over 309,000 a year earlier.

Steve Blythe, BlythecoRepeat winner Blytheco again is the top reseller for Sage as the company released the top five channel performers for the year ended September 30. It is the eleventh win as North American Partner of the Year for the Laguna Hills, Calif.-based company that also took home the trophy from 1998 through 2006 and in 2009 and 2010.

Intuit logoSales of Intuit’s QuickBooks Enterprise Solution kept moving along with the company this week reporting 76,000 active users for the first quarter ended October 30. That number is 24.6 percent higher than the 61,000 at the end of last year’s first quarter. Read more...

SPS COMMERCE NET DIPS

SPS Commerce logoNet income for SPS Commerce, which markets supply chain management tools, fell to $174,000 for the third quarter ended September 30, down 1.7 percent in last year’s corresponding period. The Minneapolis-based company reported $20.3 million in revenue for the quarter, up 31 percent from a year earlier.
