INTERDYN CFO FILLS SALES/SERVICE JOB

InterDyn CFO Consulting, which resellers Dynamics GP, NAV and CRM, has created the position of general manager of sales and professional services. The Orlando, Fla.-based VAR filled the spot with Jeff Petersen, whose duties will be to direct new business development and professional services. SWK HIRES EXECS

Sage reseller SWK Technologies has raided the offices of another reseller in hiring two new executives. The Livingston, N.J.-based organization has named Andrew Nunez as COO and EVP Sales and Paul Frydman as EVP-Consulting. The two had worked at the Secaucus, N.J., office of Nextec, a reseller that handles Dynamics and Sage's MAS 500 and X3 lines. SWK handles Sage's MAS 90/200/500, BusinessWorks, FAS, Act, SageCRM and SalesLogix products, along with Intuit's QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. Read more...

BLACKBAUD ENDS 2009 WITH NET UP

Blackbaud ended its year on December 31 reporting a 17.9 percent rise in net income on a 4.7 percent decline in revenue for the fourth quarter. Net income rose to just under $8 million in the most recently ended quarter, compared to $6.5 million a year earlier. Fourth-quarter revenue was just under $79 million, down from $80.5 million. PRONTO ALLIES WITH AVALARA

Pronto Software, an Australian developer pushing into the United States, has entered an Alliance Partnership agreement with Avalara, which is based in Bainbridge Island, Wash. The deal with the sales-and-use tax company enables Pronto customers world-wide to manage tax calculation, compliance and exemption certificate management via an integration with the software company’s Web-based AvaTax. SAGE SETS THREE-PRONGED X3 CHANNEL

Sage LogoSage's world-wide introduction of its X3 ERP described its use of resellers to move the product. But Sage North America has managed to talk about everything except the fact that its own X3 Web page shows a channel comprised by resellers, consulting services and solution providers. NETSUITE : 4Q STRONG DESPITE LOSSES

Zach NelsonNetSuite reported a wider loss on a 3.8 percent increase in revenue for the fourth quarter ended December 31. But the vendor of Internet-based business applications said that it was a good quarter with a record number of customers added and it hammered away at the theme that it is losing its smaller customers and replacing them with larger customers who pay the company more for products.
