The acquisitions of Divvy and Invoice2Go dramatically increased revenue for Bill.com for the first quarter ended March 31. The GAAP loss was up sharply while revenue rose by 152 percent over last year’s corresponding period with organic core revenue up 78 percent.

2020 RANSOMWARE COSTING B'BAUD

 Blackbaud expects to pay $25 million to $35 million for costs stemming from a May 2020 ransomware attack. The nonprofit software company, which paid the ransom, faces hundreds of customers claims and 19 consumer class action cases in courts in the United States and Canada.

 Payments software vendor AvidXchange is beefing up its accounting resources to develop more effective controls and procedures for financial reporting. In its Form 10-Q for the first quarter ended March 31, the company said its executives conclude more work was needed, but also concluded the report conformed to U.S. GAAP.

2021 COSTS DENT B'BAUD’S FIRST QUARTER

 Costs pushed into 2022 from last year contributed to a drop in non-GAAP earnings for Blackbaud.  The nonprofit software vendor has reported a GAAP loss of $10.4 million for the first quarter ended March 31, compared to $164,000 in earnings for last year’s corresponding period.
