QURIUS RENEWS DEBT REPAYMENT

Qurius, a Dynamics reseller headquartered in the Netherlands, has resumed debt payments that were suspended earlier this year. The debt was about $3.7 million. However, during the third quarter ended September 30, Qurius made a voluntary payment of $2.4 million from the proceeds of its sale of its Multiplus subsidiary, a Norwegian unit not involved in the Dynamics market.

Sage is committed to having a Summit user conference in 2010, but just how has not been decided. Sue Swenson, CEO of Sage North America, is considering having Summit at the same time as the Insights reseller conference. Either holding them concurrently or consecutively in the same city offers the potential for saving travel costs for vendors and Sage itself.

Given the economy, it doesn’t look like a bad result as Trey Resources, whose sales all come from Sage reseller SWK Technologies of Livingston, N.J., reported its loss rose as revenue climbed by 1.5 percent for the third quarter ended September.

EPICOR TALKS SHARED RISK

Epicor has introduced the Shared Benefits Program, aimed at eliminating risk and avoiding cost overruns in ERP system deployment. Under this initiative, Epicor said the company and its customers share equally in risks and rewards of an implementation.
