People who change jobs tend to hire their friends and Sage has changed a lot of exec jobs in two years. One example is how Sage communications was restocked with executives from Thomas Cook. This started when the Sage group hired Sandra Campopiano as chief people officer in September 2015. She held the same title at Thomas Cook until February 2015.

Retail software vendor Aptos has acquired BT Expdeite, which had been the exclusive Aptos reseller in Europe. The deal includes Clienteling, an application resold by Aptos in North America; a retail learning management system; the Mercatus merchandising platform; and an eCommerce platform, FrescaCommerce.

Merit Solutions, a Dynamics reseller based in the Chicago area, is offering Axcelerate, a fixed-fee implementation service for Dynamics 365 (formerly AX). The service is intended to get organizations, which are able to adopt pre-configured systems and processes, up and running within 16 weeks for $300,0000.

Brendan Flattery, who left the Sage Group last month after 13 years with the British Company, has taken the position of CEO with Utilitywise. Flattery started with Sage as managing director of the Accountants Division in October 2003. He was the CEO of Sage U.K. and Ireland, obviously a pretty significant geography for the company, from January 2011 from February 2015.
