Infor reported a 190.1-percent increase in operating income for the year ended April 30. Of course, given how highly leveraged the company is, much of the $332 million in operating income was consumed by interest expense of $317.9 million for fiscal 2018.

Deltek has released Deltek Costpoint Contract Management for the government contractor market. The application is described as offering “complete contract lifecycle management in a central repository to access all contract-related information and documents.”

Under the sea is taking on a new meaning with Microsoft’s announcement it is testing underwater datacenters. The software company is in the second phase of the program in which it is operating a prototype on the seafloor near Scotland’s Orkney Islands.
