SECOND INFOR PREZ LEAVES

Stephen Scholl, InforStephen Scholl, Infor's president of global field operations, has left the company as of July 11. That follows the May 4 departure of Duncan Angove, president of product and support. Angove and Scholl joined the company in December 2010, along with CEO Charles Phillips.

Charles Phillips, InforInfor reported a 190.1-percent increase in operating income for the year ended April 30. Of course, given how highly leveraged the company is, much of the $332 million in operating income was consumed by interest expense of $317.9 million for fiscal 2018.

MicrosoftUnder the sea is taking on a new meaning with Microsoft’s announcement it is testing underwater datacenters. The software company is in the second phase of the program in which it is operating a prototype on the seafloor near Scotland’s Orkney Islands.

LANCASTER TAKES ADOBE JOB

Brian Lancaster, AdobeBrian Lancaster, who was sales VP for Sage Enterprise in North America, has taken a job as enterprise sales leader with Adobe. Lancaster was one of the execs who took a hit when Sage unexpectedly missed its numbers for the half ended March 31.  Enterprise is the former X-3. Lancaster joined Sage in May 2016 from Infor where he worked from July 2010 through April 2016.
