deltekDeltek has hired Mike Strazza as its SVP of global sales. The software company said this week Strazza will lead both direct and channel sales around the world. Previously, he was with CA Technologies form August 2005 through May this year.

WORKDAY BUYING ADAPTIVE INSIGHTS

 Aneel Bhusri, WorkdaySo much for the Adaptive insights initial public offering. Workday is acquired the cloud-based budgeting and planning software company. Workday this week said it will pay $1.55 billion for Palo Alto, Calif.-based Adaptive, including $150 million in unvested equity issued to the target company’s employees.

Nish Patel, ConceptShareDeltek has acquired ConceptShare, an Ottawa, Ont.-based company that markets a creative operations management platform. The platform is used in online proofing and review and approval processes of marketing and creative work for agencies and in-house creative teams.

QAD TURNS IN STRONG 1Q

Karl Lopker, QADManufacturing software company QAD reported a return to profitability and strong revenue growth for its first quarter ended April 30. QAD had $1.4 million in net income for the most recently ended quarter, compared to a loss of $2.6 million a year earlier.

ALITHYA 2019 TARGET: $262M REVS

Paul Raymond, Alithya Alithya, a Montreal, Quebec-based company which is acquiring Edgewater Technology, expects 2019 revenue of about $262 million to $277 million. Alithya issued the forecast recently as part of a new shareholder presentation about the deal, expected to close in the third quarter.

Herman Man, XeroXero focused heavily on practice management with the features introduced this week.  Enhancements debuted at this week’s Xerocon include Xero Projects with a new time tracker, which the company described as a simple, real-time financial project management tool.

FORMER ABILA CEO TO HEALTH UNIT

Krista Endsley, Cantata Health Krista Endsley, former CEO of Abila, has become president of Cantata Health. Endsley headed Abila, when it was an independent company, from March 2013 through March 2017. Abila was purchased by the newly formed Community Brands in April 2017.
