INFOR COMP BACK TO NORMAL

Charles Phillips, InforCompensation for named executives for Infor dropped back to relatively normal levels for the year ended April 30, 2018. Compensation for 2017 was inflated by bonuses handed out for their work on the major investment in Infor by Koch Industries.

XERO PURCHASING HUBDOC

Jamie McDonald, Hubdoc Xero is acquiring Hubdoc, which makes document collection and management software, for $70 million in cash and stock. Hubdoc, based in Toronto, Ont., will operate as a stand-alone unit, New Zealand-based Xero said this week.

PAYA (SAGE PAYMENTS) CEO DIES

Joe Kaplan, PayaJoe Kaplan, CEO of Paya, died while on vacation with his family in Bermuda on Friday, July 27, the company has announced. Paya is the former Sage Payments which was acquired by GTCR after Sage spun off the unit in 2017. Kaplan was hired as CEO in October.

PRODWARE REVS UP SLIGHTLY

ProdwareRevenue for the Prodware Group, a Dynamics and Sage reseller based in France, rose by 2.2 percent for the second quarter ended June 30. The company’s revenue reached about $52.9 million for the most recently ended quarter, about $104.8 million for the first half.

HACKERS TARGET ORACLE, SAP SYSTEMS

Mariano Nunez, Onapsis Two security firms say hackers are targeting unpatched business systems from Oracle and SAP. The firms, Digital Shadows and Onapsis, said in a study released this week at least a dozen companies and government agencies have been targeted while thousands are subject to exploitation of old security flaws.

ECI HIRES CFO

Sarah Hogan, ECi Software SolutionsECi Software Solutions—parent to JobBoss, Macola and Max—has named Sarah Hogan as CFO. She replaces Glenn Etherington, who is retiring after more than a decade in the job with the Fort Worth, Texas-based company. Hogan was previously CFO for Omnitracs, which markets SaaS fleet management applications.

DXC CEO GOT $32 MILLION

J. Michael Lawrie, DXC TechnologyJ. Michael Lawrie, CEO of DXC Technology,  received $32.2 million in compensation for the year ended 2018, most of that from $25.6 million in stock awards. DXC is a large technology company that has built its Dynamics business over the last two years through several acquisitions.
