SugarCRM has named a new CFO, Andrew Chmyz, and I don’t envy him the way direct mail to him is addressed or what telemarketers and journalists do to his name. Chmyz recently was CFO at Marimba, a publicly traded software company, and CRM Vendor Medallia. SugarCRM released information about how much its revenue has grown.

EPartners has sold its operations in the United Kingdom to eBecs Ltd., another Dynamics reseller based in that country. It's interesting from two points: the simple news of the event and the fact that ePartners and Tectura, the other major U.S.-based Dynamics VAR, have gone from acquiring operations (well not recently) to disposing of them in the same year.

After looking like it would stay on a reseller-a-week tear, Intacct had not announced any new channel members since June 22. Although Intacct has done well with accounting firms, it is still having trouble penetrating the top Dynamics VARs. Brittenford had $4.5 million in revenue for 2010 and rank as 91 on my Top 100 VAR list so it's a good catch.
