QAD SIGNS ADAPTIVE RESELLER

QAD has signed eNoah iSolutions to resell QAD Adaptive ERP applications in North America. Headquartered in Chennai, India, eNoah has offices in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Malaysia and Singapore.

Robin Riordan, QAD’s SVP of consulting and transformation services, said in this this week’s announcement, that the manufacturing software company selected the reseller because of its “expertise and experience working with manufacturing companies”  QAD said eNoah provides products and services to the Fortune 500 in the integrated health, insurance, manufacturing and automotive industries. In July, QAD picked up Infosys as a systems integrator to provide service to its customers around the globe.

CIBC Innovation Banking has invested approximately $19 million ($25 million Canadian) in Vena Systems. The Canadian-based company received financing of about $75 million last year.

VERTEX SPENDS TO A LOSS IN Q2

Vertex reported a 16.6-percent rise in revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, its first-ever quarterly report as a public company. However, the company jacked up spending by 80 percent resulting in a loss of $29.1 million.
