SAGE JUNKS AFFILIATE PROGRAM

Sage is dropping the affiliate program that was set up in April 2019 to help smaller resellers. Affiliates have until October 21 to revert to their way of doing business before they were encouraged to align with six larger VARs that Sage called Advocates and the program the Advocate Partner Benefit.

Insightsoftware has acquired Event 1 Software. Insightsoftware said this week Event 1, based in Vancouver, Wash., has more than 2,700 customers and an emphasis on construction and real estate.

DYNAMICS REVS TOP $3 BILLION FOR FY '20

Dynamics revenue passed $3 billion for the year ended June 30, the company said this week. It is part of an occasional look Microsoft gives into the size of the Dynamics market, this time coming from CFO Amy Hood during the week’s earnings webcast.

IFS REVENUE UP 16 PERCENT FOR HALF

IFS, the sister to Acumatica, this week reported revenue of $360 million for the first half ended June 30. That was a 16-percent year-over-year increase, 15 percent in constant currency for the Sweden-based company.

VERTEX IPO TO BE $296M TO $338M

Vertex, which had previously filed forms for an initial public offering, is selling 21,150,000 shares of its Class A common stock. The company expect an offering price from $14 to $16 per share.

PRODWARE REVS DIVE 14.5% IN 2Q

Revenue for Sage and Dynamics reseller Prodware, dropped 14.5 percent to about $50.2 million revenue for the second quarter ended June 30.  That came as the COVID-19 pandemic kept customers of the France-based company from accessing some customer sites for several weeks.

Tamlin Software, based in Grapevine, Texas, has named Matt Penny as CFO. For Penny, it marks a return to the company he left nearly six years ago.

F-FORCE NAMES CUSTOMER OFFICER

FinancialForce has named Scott Bajtos as chief customer officer. Bajtos, who joined the software company last month, becomes the third person to hold that position in four years. That level of turnover has been typical of executive positions below CEO Tod Nielsen.
