Reseller and software developer Columbus has agreed to offer Litium’s ecommerce platform to its customers globally. Columbus will sell and deploy Litium first in Scandinavia and later to other markets. Litium is described as serving large and midsize companies with both B2B and B2C capabilities and for businesses new to ecommerce and those with more advanced needs.

Dynamics reseller Quisitive has converted $4.5 million in remaining convertible debentures that were used to pay for part of its acquisition of Menlo Technologies to 32,025,800 Common Share. The value of those shares of Toronto, Ont.-based Quisitive is about $15 million at today's exchange rates.

Avalara has named Kathleen Weslock as chief human resources officer. She replaces Shaunna Duffy, who had been with the sales-and-use tax company since November 2010.
