The purchase of reseller Menlo Technologies earlier this year helped Quisitive more than double its revenue for the third quarter ended September 30. Toronto, Ont.-based Quisitive also benefited from revenue from its LedgerPay line.

Intuit says that the number of customers doubled in the year ended July 31. During the recent earnings webcast for the first quarter ended October 30, CEO Sasan Goodarzi said the total reached 75,000 customers.

Net at Work continues mopping up smaller Sage resellers this month. It most recently said it has purchased Pleasanton, Calif.-based Sysera, a Sage 300 reseller. New York-based Net at Work has said there will be more purchases of smaller Sage resellers that are part of its network program.

Sage intends to increase its spending for research and development from about 15 percent of annual recurring revenue to 17 percent, chief executive Steve Hare said. He made his comments during this week’s webcast for earnings for the year ended September 30, a year marked by the continuing move to the cloud.
