ECI DEBUTS CLOUD-BASED JOBBOSS

ECI Software Solutions has introduced JobBoss², which the company says will be its go-forward cloud project for job shop and make-to-order manufacturers. The new product combines features from E2 Shop, which was part of ECI’s acquisition of Shoptech in the fourth quarter of last year, with JobBoss.

BLACKBAUD EXEC PAY TRIMMED IN 2020

Compensation for five named executives at Blackbaud dropped by amounts ranging from 11.3 percent to 15.4 percent for 2020. That came as none received non-equity incentive compensation for last year and stock awards dropped.

BLACKBAUD: PANDEMIC LIMITED REVENUE

A shortfall in bookings at the start of the pandemic in 2020 has held down revenue grown this year for Blackbaud. The nonprofit software vendor lost $164,000 in the first quarter ended March 31, compared to net income of $1.6 million a year ago.

LOWER OPTIONS CUT AVALARA EXEC PAY

 Lower option awards cause a drop for three named executives at sales tax company Avalara in 2020. As a result, compensation for CEO Scott McFarlane fell to $9.2 million last year, off 16.2 percent from slightly less than $11 million in 2019.

CLOUD PUSHES VISMA RESULTS 

 A 33.4-percent increase cloud subscriptions and transactions led Norway-based Visma to an 18 percent-rise in revenue for the first quarter ended March 31. Cloud revenue hit approximately $309.7 million in the most recently ended period.

DYNAMICS 365 REVS SOAR

Dynamics 365 had what Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella this week called a “breakthrough quarter”. For the third quarter ended March 31, Dynamics 365 revenue grew by 45 percent over last year’s corresponding quarter; 40 percent in constant currencies.

IFS REVS RISE 13 PERCENT  

 Sweden-based IFS reported revenue for the first quarter ended March 31 increased by 13 percent to about $143 million. The software company said this week recurring revenue increased by 24 percent to approximately $109 million.
