EPICOR EXPANDS SAAS PRODUCT

Epicor logoEpicor ERP Express Edition has been expanded from its initial target market of smaller manufacturers and distributors to larger organizations. In a prepared statement, market director Chad Meyer said the company is seeing increasing demand for cloud-based products. Express is sold on a subscription basis with the monthly fee covering software, hardware, support, training resources, system maintenance and upgrades.

The companies announced that Acumatica has become a certified solution partner of Bainbridge Island,  Wash.-based Avalara and is integrating the latter's cloud-based sales-and-use tax application, AvaTax into its products.
