Epicor ERP Express Edition has been expanded from its initial target market of smaller manufacturers and distributors to larger organizations. In a prepared statement, market director Chad Meyer said the company is seeing increasing demand for cloud-based products. Express is sold on a subscription basis with the monthly fee covering software, hardware, support, training resources, system maintenance and upgrades.

Acumatica has become the latest financial application company to integrate with Avalara. The companies announced that Acumatica has become a certified solution partner of Bainbridge Island, Wash.-based Avalara and is integrating the latter's cloud-based sales-and-use tax application, AvaTax into its products.
