IFS has hired Merlin Knott as global head of channels. He was previously SVP of sales for SAP in Europe for that company’s Leonardo and Analytics lines. IFS is owned by EQT Partners, which recently acquired Acumatica.

Analytical software vendor Qlik has acquired Crunch Data and CrunchBot, the latter’s AI-powered analytics bot. Philadelphia, Pa.-based Qlik said the technology enables users ask questions in a conversational manner through the Qlik Sense UI and within collaboration tools such as Slack, Skype, Salesforce Chat and Microsoft Teams.

Oracle pays women, Asians and black less than white workers and overwhelmingly hires Asian college graduates with student visas who must stay on good terms with Oracle to remain in this country, the Department of Labor alleged this week.
