INFOR SELLING EAM BIZ for $2.75B

Infor has agreed to sell its Enterprise Asset Management business to Sweden-based Hexagon for $2.75 billion. It is the largest divestiture by Infor, a company built through acquisition.

 Reseller Aktion has acquired the Central Consulting Group, which calls itself “Deltek’s largest Vision/Vantagepoint partner”. This is a first for Maumee, Ohio-based Aktion which carries a wide product line, but has not previously handled Deltek.

XERO PICKS LEADER IN AUSTRALIA, ASIA

Xero has hired Joseph Lyons as managing director of Xero Australia and Asia. He replaces Trent Innes, who held the position for eight years. Innes, who stepped aside as of July 1, will continue with the cloud software company until September during the transition.

THOMA BRAVO BUYING QAD FOR $2B

 Private equity firm Thoma Bravo will take QAD private in a $2 billion deal. QAD shareholders will receive $87.50 per share in cash, which was a premium of about 20 percent over the last close before the announcement.
