The acquisition of R3D Conseill boosted revenue for Dynamics and Oracle reseller Alithya significantly for the first quarter ended June 30. Coupled with organic growth, R3D helped Alithya achieve a 54.9-percent decline in the company’s loss on a 45.6-percent increase in revenue.

VERTEX SHARPLY CUTS LOSS

Vertex slashed its loss for the second quarter ended June 30 by 95 percent as revenue rose by 15 percent. The indirect tax software company lost $2.6 million for the most recently ended period, down from a loss of $39.4 million a year ago.

SilverSun Technologies, parent of SWK Technologies, turned in a sharp increase in net income on a 5.8-percent rise in revenue for the second quarter ended June 30. But software revenue declined by 8.3 percent.
PROCORE SEES BROAD GROWTH

Procore Technologies saw broad growth as it made its first report as a public company this week. The construction software company spent into the growth so that while revenue was up 27.1 percent for the second quarter ended June 30 as a three-times increase in operating expenses raised the net loss for the period by 10 times year-over-year.
