Netherlands-based Exact said results improved for the half ended June 30, but earnings were down with revenue down in all categories. Net income was $15.4 million, down 21 percent when calculated in euros. Revenue of $145.5 million was off by 5 percent. Even the usual reliable source, maintenance, was down 1.7 percent because there was no adjustment for inflation, while license revenue fell by 2.2 percent.
