Carla Alarcon, long-time marketing director at Open Systems, has taken a position to run marketing programs for SSI Consulting. Alarcon moved to the Vienna, Va.-based software reseller this month after spending 13 years with the Shakopee, Minn.-based publisher of Open Systems Accounting Software and Traverse. SSI is led by Bill Aiton, who has been president of the organization since January 2005.
