Must be something in the air in the last year with companies and suits against SAP.  SAP was ordered to pay Oracle $1.3 billion in December because its former subsidiary, TomorrowNow, had illegally downloaded Oracle software. And now, Versata, which is an aggregator of technology companies, has been awarded $345 million in a patent infringement suit against SAP North America and its German parent.
