NEW NAMES ON EPICOR'S VAR LIST
Epicor doesn't tend to announce the names of resellers that have agreed to carry its products, so it's necessary to visit the "Find a Partner" part of its Web site periodically. And there has been some expansion of the channel since Epicor 9 hit the market. Among the companies listed are CompuData, a Philadelphia-based VAR that has been primarily a Sage vendor and Clients First Business Solutions, which is based in Holmdel, N.J.
The latter has a more diverse line, carrying all of Sage's MAS titles, the Microsoft Dynamics offerings, along with SAP Business One and Business By Design. A spokesperson for CompuData said that company had signed up a year ago "but it takes some time to get up and running." These two companies give Epicor a great deal of coverage as both operate in multiple regions in the United States.
