Before that, he was EVP of business and channel development for SecureNet Payments from August 2011 through February 2016. SecureNet was acquired by WorldPay in December 2014. Paya, the former Sage Payments Solutions, was formed 18 months ago when it was acquired by GTCR and spun out of Sage. Since then, it has expanded with the November purchase of Stewardship Technology, which services nonprofits, faith-based organizations and educational institutions, and its January acquisition of First Billing Services, which provides electronic bill presentment and payment products to utility and municipal government clients.
