Gaardboe was the founder of Columbus (formerly Columbus IT Partner), also based in Denmark. Rasmussen is joining Alfapeople from IBM, where he has worked since as March 2015. He was been executive partner and sales leader for IBM’s Nordic region since January 2018. Before that, he was sales lead/sales director for Accenture’s Nordic region from October 2012 through February 2015.

Alfapeople has named Michael Rasmussen as CEO effective March 1. The Copenhagen, Denmark-based Dynamics reseller said Michael Gaardboe, who has held the position since April 2010, will become chairman.
