Intuit rarely volunteers information on QBES to the press, but has been noting the product’s growth in its earnings webcasts and presentations to Wall Street firms over the last 18 months. In November, Intuit said QBES has an installed base of 140,000 and in December said the line has $450 million in revenue. QBES has been responsible for helping the QB desktop market grow despite the change to cloud. On the lower-end, a new 2019 QuickBooks Desktop Recertification for ProAdvisors has been launched. New elements include training on features new to the product, designed to prepare users for the 2019 recertification exam. Modules will be added as enhancements are added to QB Desktop.
