Liza Anderson of APS Payments described the organization as "a grass roots effort to create a community and an ability to network". Initially aimed at resellers and ISVs, the effort will expand to include users. Acu-connect intends to provide a site where members of the Acumatica community can share information through conversations and by posting blog content. Members plan to organize formally, selecting a board of directors and by-laws. The founding members are APS Payments, ArtSyl, Avalara, Crestwood Associates, Biz-tech Services, DataQuest, DataSelf, DSD Business Systems, Jaas Systems, NetStock, Paramount Workspace, Scanco, StarShip, TrueCommerce, V-technologies and YayPay.
