F9 USES PERVASIVE FOR INTEGRATION
F9 seems to be getting more active. With part of that related to Microsoft's sunsetting FRx, the latest announcement is that F9, which is owned by Infor, chose the Pervasive Data Integrator as the basis of its QuickBooks-to-Excel integration tool.
The integration lets F9's financial reporting dynamically link general ledger data to Excel. The fact that F9's Web sites show no product announcements between March and December and since December there have been four postings; three of those in February, signals the effort by Infor to put new life in F9. Those announcements were F9 version 5 for Sage Pro 100 and 200, and compatibility with Windows 7, along with providing information about F9 as an alternative to FRx. QB to Excel has to be one of the largest opportunities for F9, given the pervasive use of both products.
