She began her Sage career as chief marketing officer for Sage North America and was briefly EVP of global brand experience last year. A lot of Sage titles in 2015 include the word "brief" in their job descriptions. One of her notable impacts was the bevy of high-profile speakers Sage Summit such as Jessica Alba and Colin Powell. Boko's LinkedIn page does not feature her photograph which I have always found a bit odd for a marketing executive. The formation of HP Enterprise was announced in April as part of the company's plan to split in two. I guess attendees at Summit probably gained a great deal of insight from Powell about conducting a land war in the Middle East.
SAGE EXILE BOKO LANDS AT HP Featured
Gabrielle Boko, former Sage marketing and branding executive, has been hired as global EVP of software marketing for Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. That gives her some immediate work as HP Enterprise is the Platinum Sponsor for Envision, the April Microsoft conference that resulted from a complete organ transplant involving the body of the former Convergence conference. Boko was with Sage North America from July 2013 until her departure in October.
