Wonder if there's a mini-trend here for Sage dealers to concentrate on fewer products. Late in 2013, ISM sold its Sage 500 practice to RKL eSolutions. RKL is concentrating on 500, at a time when that product is believed to be headed for the sunset. However, RKL has done a lot of development work with 500. Abila resurrected the MIP name this year for what was for many years Sage 100 Fund Accounting. MIP comes from the company that originated the software, Micro Information Products, and which was acquired by Sage in September 2001. In a message late last month, Abila CEO Krista Endsley said her company had not expanded the number of resellers in the channel, but noted the entrance of Net@Work, Sage's largest VAR, into the program.
