SAGE LINKS WITH MOBILECAUSE
Sage North America plans to integrate a cloud-based application from MobileCause with its fundraising products. The deal will enable Sage to provide mobile fundraising applications to nonprofit customers. The cloud-based MobileCause app will first be integrated with Sage Millennium and later with Sage Fundraising Online and Fundraising 50.
The companies say the MobileCause product's Mobile Pledging capabilities can be used with any smartphone. MobileCause says its fundraising tool enables "nonprofits to receive text donations of any amount that are mobile web page or call center fulfilled and credit card collected." The company says that the app can be used by nonprofits of all size, as opposed to Text to Give, which can only be used by larger organizations.
