Insight has been an acquisition path in the reporting software arena this year. In March. it acquired BizNet Software and followed that with the May acquisition of Jet Global Data Technologies, which markets reporting, analytics, and budgeting applications for Microsoft Dynamics. It purchased in October Excel4apps, which makes Excel-based reporting software for Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP. The company reached its current form with the merger of Hubble by insightsoftware.com and Global Software in June 2018.
