For one, the Rand Group, a quality Dynamics reseller, has taken on the SAP product. Rand, led by Ron Rand, listed annual revenue of $21.2 million in the information submitted for Bob Scott’s Top 100 VARs. Besides taking on NetSuite, the firm noted, “We have recently added SAP Business ByDesign to our growing list of software partners, enabling us to offer clients a full breadth of solutions that can handle any size, industry, and need.” It’s been a long time since anybody not in the SAP channel family took on ByD. Part of the reason may have been that SAP this year combined management of Business One and ByD. Both were placed under Michael Schmitt, who previously had responsibility only for ByD since July 2014.
