From April 2015 through August this year, he was the company's SVP of revenue and corporate partnerships. Needel will manage Everydayhero from Blackbaud's New York office. Blackbaud acquired the Brisbane, Australia-based operation in October 2011 for about $5.8 million, based on the currency exchanges rates at the time. Everydayhero was cofounded in 2005 by Nathan Betteridge, who served as CEO until the company was purchased by the nonprofit software vendor. He was global managing director of the unit from September 2014 through May this year.

Blackbaud has named Jerry Needel as president of Everydayhero, its subsidiary that markets crowdfundraising products. Before moving to the new job, Needel had worked at Indiegogo, in the online fundraising arenas. From October 2012 through April 2015, he served as SVP of sales and marketing.
